Olga Faktorovich Allen

Senior Director of Climate Integration and Sustainability

Bio

Olga Faktorovich Allen is a climate integration and sustainability strategist with over 15 years of experience driving action in the climate, energy, and sustainability sectors. She has led cross-cutting initiatives across the U.S., U.K., Australia, and international markets, developing decarbonization and climate risk management solutions for global health, housing, and food security. Her expertise lies in incubating differentiated scalable solutions and enhancing organizational effectiveness. Olga has led delegations at multiple UNFCCC Conferences of the Parties (COPs), promoting thought leadership and strategic partnerships.

Currently serving as Senior Director for Climate Integration at Abt Global, Olga is responsible for mainstreaming climate strategies across all business lines and leading Abt’s ambitious science-based decarbonization efforts. This work entails establishing climate literacy and driving climate ambition across the organization; developing differentiated solutions that address clients’ key challenges at the nexus of “climate and”; optimizing deployment of resources to drive market growth; and curating and amplifying Abt’s thought leadership and presence in climate and nature solutions.  Olga’s focus on climate integration has resulted in novel action-focused frameworks for climate and health, climate and homelessness, and more. Leading a matrixed team and partnering across the organization, Olga has facilitated growth in the climate and environment market and empowered teams to develop innovative, data-driven solutions that address complex social and environmental challenges. 

In the corporate climate action space, Olga’s leadership has led to Abt achieving the world’s first ANSI 391.1 certification at the leadership level and to being recognized through several awards for corporate sustainability, including the prestigious Climate Registry’s 2024 Climate Leadership Award.

In her previous roles at Abt, Olga has provided analytical support to the U.S. EPA’s regulatory processes on GHG emissions, toxic releases, and water quality.  Olga conceptualized and built from the ground up Abt’s award-winning corporate sustainability program, scaling it across field offices and subsidiaries and driving a more than 50% reduction in operational emissions. Olga also developed Abt’s Mission Impact Management program including the associated reporting framework, publications, and enterprise monitoring and evaluation platform. Olga also led development of Abt’s five-year corporate strategy and subsequent accelerate strategy in the climate and environment market. She holds a master’s degree in environmental sustainability management and development studies from Harvard University.
