Anne-Marie Slaughter is the President and CEO of New America, a think tank and civic enterprise with offices in Washington and New York. She is also the Bert G. Kerstetter '66 University Professor Emerita of Politics and International Affairs at Princeton University.From 2009–2011 she served as director of Policy Planning for the United States Department of State, the first woman to hold that position. Upon leaving the State Department she received the Secretary’s Distinguished Service Award for her work leading the Quadrennial Diplomacy and Development Review, as well as meritorious service awards from USAID and the Supreme Allied Commander for Europe. Prior to her government service, Slaughter was the Dean of Princeton’s Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs from 2002–2009 and the J. Sinclair Armstrong Professor of International, Foreign, and Comparative Law at Harvard Law School from 1994-2002.

Sheila P. Burke is a strategic advisor in the Washington, D.C. office of Baker Donelson and chair of the firm’s Government Relations & Policy Group. An expert in health policy, Burke is a member of the faculty at the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University and is a Distinguished Visitor at the O’Neill Institute for National and Global Health Law at Georgetown University. Burke held a number of positions during a 19-year career on Capitol Hill – including staff director of the Senate Finance Committee responsible for legislation relating to Medicare, Medicaid and other health programs – and chief of staff to Senate Majority Leader Bob Dole.

Peter Levine is a multi-disciplinary economic growth and private-sector development specialist with more than 25 years of experience in program management, new business development, and communications for complex international programs. This includes extensive work in Asia, the Middle East, Latin America, Central/Eastern Europe and successful capture work for Abt Global in Africa. This portfolio of activities encompasses new business and technical/financial management of U.S.-government funded projects ranging from $5 million to $55 million. Committed to youth issues, he mentors students and young professionals and integrates them into programs.

Graham Teskey, based in Canberra, Australia, is the leader of Abt Global’s Global Governance practice. He serves as a resource on the governance aspects of international development, leads or supports engagement with major clients, and is building Abt’s thought leadership and reputational capital in governance.Before joining Abt, Graham was the principal governance specialist for the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT), where his role was to advise DFAT on its governance and public sector programs in its international aid program.

Anna Winoto has more than 20 years of experience leading and managing multi-disciplinary teams on complex development programs in Indonesia. Her areas of expertise include public health and nutrition, social protection, child protection, decentralized service delivery, and community-led development.  She is a skilled facilitator of multi-stakeholder collaboration. She has worked with the national governments of Australia and Indonesia and with UNICEF.

Olga Zues, a health-system and financing specialist, has 20 years of experience in international development. She focuses on the design and implementation of comprehensive reform strategies to strengthen health systems and public finance management. Her expertise includes benefits design to move towards universal health coverage, arrangements to support efficiency gains and service delivery improvements, innovative payment mechanisms, sustainability strategies, and institutional development. She has worked with the World Health Organisation (WHO), the World Bank, the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria, the U.S. Agency for International Development, the UK Department for International Development – now the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office – and numerous ministries of health, finance, justice, and education.

For more than 20 years, Jeffrey Conrad Wuorinen has focused on bridging divides and convening partnerships to take on intractable social, economic, governance, and environmental problems. Through his work in 100 countries, he has helped to mobilize more than $8 billion in capital and capacity investment into economic, social, and environmental infrastructure across the global south.  Wuorinen has worked at the grassroots level with some of the world’s most underserved and overburdened communities and he has advised at the highest levels of governments and international organizations.

Nadiia Zaritska is a Ph.D. sociologist with 13 years of extensive experience in programme management, research, monitoring, evaluation, research, and learning (MERL), and gender equality and social inclusion (GESI) analysis. With a steadfast commitment to promoting gender equality, social inclusion, and human rights, Zaritska has focused her efforts on driving reforms, democratization, and addressing the social repercussions of conflict and war. Her professional journey has led her to engage closely with national and local governmental bodies in Ukraine, Georgia, and Moldova.

Shelley Martin is a gender and sustainable development advisor with a background in women and youth empowerment, inclusive business and innovation, and human rights in supply chains and communities. Her work has engaged local and global organizations in numerous sectors across 15+ countries, spanning climate-smart agriculture, land rights, finance, entrepreneurship, clean energy, STEM, infrastructure, manufacturing and consumer goods.
