Health Careers for All Three-Year Impact Report

Authors

Asaph Glosser, MEF Associates; and David Judkins, Abt Global

This study evaluates the three-year impact of the Workforce Development Council of Seattle–King County’s Health Careers for All program. The report found that the program:

  • increased the proportion of participants working in healthcare.
  • increased receipt of postsecondary healthcare credentials from schools.
  • had no detectable impact on average earnings, the study’s confirmatory outcome, or on most measures of financial well-being and parenting.

The program is part of the Pathways for Advancing Careers and Education project funded by the Administration for Children and Families in the Department of Health and Human Services.
