She provides technical and managerial oversight for the implementation of health financing options for families with low incomes to reduce financial barriers and out-of-pocket payments. The goal is to increase the coverage of health services to reduce health inequalities and improve access to essential health services for the most vulnerable populations.
Olusola-Faleye's extensive previous work showcases leadership roles in key public health initiatives involving TB. Before her current role, she provided technical support to the USAID Infectious Diseases Detection and Surveillance program for TB laboratory network optimization and geospatial analysis. Before that, she served as chief of party for USAID’s Sustaining Health Outcomes through the Private Sector Plus (SHOPS Plus) overseeing private sector engagement for TB service delivery in 16 states in Nigeria. Her groundbreaking work in implementing the novel Public-Private-Mix model led to remarkable improvements in TB case detection, particularly in Lagos and Kano States. As regional technical adviser, she played a crucial role in developing guidelines and protocols for managing drug resistant TB. Olusola-Faleye also contributed to global policy documents through the USAID/TB CARE International Workshop for the development of National Action Plans for Community Programmatic Management of Drug Resistant TB.
