Lauren Pittenger comes to Abt with more than 20 years of experience working in or as a consultant to federal government agencies. She has strong grounding in research and research-based consulting to government clients. She also has extensive experience leading and growing business, managing technical and scientific projects, and coaching and supporting account teams. She has served as a director at Guidehouse, scientific program manager at Booz Allen Hamilton, and lab manager at the U.S. Department of Agriculture. She has worked with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the Canadian Public Health Laboratory Network, the Gates Foundation and the Association of Public Health Laboratories.

Eduardo Castellon has two decades of experience helping public sector clients—from the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) and the U.S. Postal Service (USPS) to the Department of Housing and Urban Development—grow and refine their operations and impact. He has extensive experience delivering consulting expertise focused on artificial intelligence (AI), supply chain, procurement, financial management, and advanced analytics. His technological, consultative, and entrepreneurial skills help clients find new ways to address challenges ranging from affordable housing to homelessness to guaranteed income. He also has extensive expertise in technical assistance and implementation (TA&I) approaches. And his management experience includes developing high-performing teams through skills and career development and succession planning.

Hoai B. Huynh has more than 25 years of experience in energy, environment, engineering, policy, and program management in the U.S. and internationally. He has worked in the U.S. government, consulting, aerospace and defense industry, and non-profit sectors. He also has had experience leading corporate strategy and growth efforts at Abt Global, Deloitte, AECOM, ICF, and CDM Smith. He has worked for such clients as U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), Millennium Challenge Corporation, the World Bank, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), and the U.S. Trade and Development Agency.   

For more than 20 years, Jeffrey Conrad Wuorinen has focused on bridging divides and convening partnerships to take on intractable social, economic, governance, and environmental problems. Through his work in 100 countries, he has helped to mobilize more than $8 billion in capital and capacity investment into economic, social, and environmental infrastructure across the global south.  Wuorinen has worked at the grassroots level with communities and he has advised at the highest levels of governments and international organizations.

Jeff Stovall has more than two decades of information technology experience in a variety of sectors, including large, publicly traded telecom and manufacturing companies, state and local government, professional services, and startups. He has led digital transformations and expanded sales using enterprise technology solutions. He has provided client senior management advisory and business transformation services involving software-as-a-service.

Jeffrey (Jeff) Leone is a senior growth leader with more than 20 years of experience leading growth teams and managing complex business development functions such as capture, bids and proposals, market intelligence and competitive assessment, pipeline development, and sales analytics.  Leone’s experience cuts across a range of U.S. domestic and international development markets at Abt and at large, global companies. 

Maria-Paz Barrientos has more than 20 years of management consulting experience advising C-Suite leaders and senior U.S. government officials on strategic planning, organizational transformation, and change management. She has extensive experience managing programs, projects, and people, including defining scope and level of effort, governance, mitigating risk, and producing impact with high quality project deliverables.

Matthew Eby has over 20 years of leadership experience in supporting life science research and consulting for military, federal public health, and international agencies. His diverse career spans basic and applied research on environmental bioremediation, designing nanomaterials to combat antimicrobial resistance, and protecting our nation against bioterrorism. He also led federal and international agencies in modernizing public health systems and pandemic response efforts. Clients have included the Air Force, Navy, Army, Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Food and Drug Administration, National Institutes of Health, and United Arab Emirates. He  has authored more than 20 peer-reviewed publications with 1000+ citations. He also is an active supporter of local community initiatives that tackle affordable housing, food insecurity, and systemic poverty.

Hélène J. Courard brings two decades of expertise navigating the intricacies of government procurement at federal, state, local, municipal, and provincial levels. She has led global teams at firms such as Google Cloud and Unisys and developed winning proposals in education and advanced IT solutions. Courard’s innovative approaches include implementation of proposal tools, platforms, and systems that could be used enterprise wide.
