The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) faced the challenge of streamlining access to information, tools, and resources for farmers, ranchers, and landowners.

Ricki Jarmon leads the Data Capture & Surveys practice within the Digital & Data Services team. He has more than 30 years of experience in survey research for U.S. government agencies, including the Department of Labor, Food and Nutrition Service, Department of Housing and Urban Development, Social Security Administration, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and Administration for Children and Families.

Jason Brinkley, Ph.D., is a biostatistician, data scientist and health researcher who leads the Research Design and Analytics team in Abt’s Data Science, Surveys and Enabling Technologies division. Brinkley has expertise in a wide range of analytic methods, and he specializes in machine learning, customized data visualizations, maps and dash-boarding. Brinkley balances research time between examining theoretical ways to assess the impact of medical interventions on public health and developing best practices for using statistical software. A member of the American Statistical Association, AcademyHealth, and the American Association for Public Opinion Research, he also serves on the executive board of the Southeast SAS Users Group.

Nadiia Zaritska is a Ph.D. sociologist with 13 years of extensive experience in programme management, research, monitoring, evaluation, research, and learning (MERL), and gender equality and social inclusion (GESI) analysis. With a steadfast commitment to promoting gender equality, social inclusion, and human rights, Zaritska has focused her efforts on driving reforms, democratization, and addressing the social repercussions of conflict and war. Her professional journey has led her to engage closely with national and local governmental bodies in Ukraine, Georgia, and Moldova.

Benny Kil is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and a certified scrum master (CSM) with over 15 years of project and product management experience—working in business analysis and project delivery in the federal, state, and commercial areas with a focus on technology and digital processes. He has experience in leading multidisciplinary teams to deliver client requirements using agile methodologies (scrum and kanban). He is an experienced leader who can provide IT project and portfolio management oversight through the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC), including client management, business requirements elicitation, IT software development, quality assurance (QA)/quality control (QC), testing, and deployment. Kil has led projects with a variety of federal clients, including the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), and the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA).

As senior health informatics advisor at Abt, Miquel Sitjar provides technical leadership for comprehensive digital health solutions on projects in 30 countries. Having previously led health informatics on USAID’s Infectious Disease Detection and Surveillance project at ICF, he has crucial expertise expanding capacity and interoperable systems for real-time surveillance and pathogen identification in 22 countries. His extensive background in epidemiological and antimicrobial resistance (AMR) surveillance, as well as medical research, health policy, cybersecurity, and supply chain management in over 30 countries greatly enhances Abt’s global health security approaches.
