Expanding Our Impact

Kenya is the economic, financial and transportation hub of East Africa. Agriculture and tourism remain very important to the country’s economy, which has grown despite corruption and poor infrastructure.

Abt Global has worked on a range of issues in Kenya, including:

  • Improving food security by examining whether or not incentives can lessen agricultural market failures.
  • Fighting malaria through indoor residual spraying and entomological studies.
  • Building a strong, unified and integrated national health information system to help improve the health of all Kenyans.
